My first experience as a mother wasn’t so easy, Niamh was headstrong and still is but also had bad colic.. she hated napping and sleeping and has protested everything she doesn’t want to do from the day she was born until today and I imagine her whole life (which I am glad for now). Having a second I have to admit scared me but I wanted Niamh to have a sibling, also having a boy scared me because I had a sister and imagined that for Niamh, turns out every baby is different and having a boy is incredible.. this wonderful soul has opened my heart more than I could imagine and made my experience into motherhood richer and happier and I am so glad I braved it again 🥰 .. juggling work with no mat leave and babies and toddlers is hard but we’re happy and lucky ❤️ #lucky #kids #family #worklifebalance
