Where does the time go? I can’t believe my baby girl is officially 4 months old today 🥹 I would love to say these have been the best four months of my life but that wouldn’t be honest of me. It has been such a difficult transition into motherhood. From being with River in the NICU for the first month of her life to figuring out how to navigate postpartum depression while trying to find a way back to work so that I can continue to support my family while trying to build one of my own, struggling to maintain my milk supply as stress is one of the leading factors of depletion when breast feeding & Feeling guilt about that. I wish people talked about all of these things more so that maybe there would be a deeper understanding of what reality is like for new mothers. I finally feel like I am getting the hang of it though and I can honestly say I am so proud of myself!! I am grateful for my journey and for the growth that comes along with it.
