Pot Roast Recipe: 2.5 lb chuck roast 1 white onion 4 cloves garlic 2 c beef broth 2 T balsamic vinegar 2 T Worcestershire sauce 2 T tomato paste Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, oregano If your chuck roast is fatty, remove as much fat as you’d like. Season each side of your roast with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Add oil to the pan. Sear your roast on both sides until brown. Remove roast. Sauté your chopped onion, and chopped garlic cloves. Add your beef broth, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste. Add your meat back to the pan. If using an instant pot, cook on high pressure for one and a half hours. If you’re using a slow cooker, cook on low for eight hours.
