Sarah Morris (@sarahmorris) has collaborated with German offshore sailor Boris Herrmann and Team Malizia to design the sail for a new racing yacht, Malizia Seaexplorer. The composition for the 400 square metre sail is based upon both an image of a funnel spiderweb and a map of Springpoint, USA, one of the artist’s centres of activity. Sarah has said, 'Art is our navigation’. The collaboration was mediated by the Deichtorhallen Hamburg, where the artist will have a retrospective in 2023.
