Strawberry sheet pie recipe below! This is perfect for summer BBQs and football tailgates 🍓 INGREDIENTS: 1 (11 oz.) package refrigerated pie crust Fresh strawberries sliced 2 1/2 cups lemon lime soda (I used sprite) 6 oz. strawberry jello 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/3 cup cornstarch 1 tablespoon lemon juice Whipped cream to garnish CRUST: Preheat oven to 450o F. Unroll thawed/ room temp pie crusts out of packaging and onto a lightly floured surface. Stack one on top of the other. Roll them out to roughly a 12x16 inch rectangle, then transfer crust to a large baking sheet (10x15-inches). Tuck excess crust under itself, scallop edges if desired & prick the bottom and sides all over with a fork. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until slightly golden brown, then remove, and let cool. FILLING: In a large saucepan over medium heat, whisk together jello packet, sugar, cornstarch, sprite and lemon juice. Bring mixture to a boil, stir until thickened, remove from heat and let cool 10-15 minutes. Add sliced strawberries on top of cooled pie crust, then pour (cooled) jello filling slowly on top.
