Heaven has gained the most amazing, full of life, loving man and I can’t imagine what my life will be like without him. My Pawpaw fought so hard but passed away on Friday evening. My heart is broken and I don’t know what I’ll do without my best friend. Pawpaw loved to laugh, sing, and tell stories, and he has taught me so much about life and hard work and the importance of family. My Pawpaw lit up every room he walked into, he had such a special charisma and was simply a joy to be around. He always made sure I knew how much he loved me and he constantly showed me how much he cared about me. I am so incredibly blessed to have grown up with such an amazing grandfather that I have looked up to for nearly seventeen years for strength, love, knowledge, and joy. I will selfishly miss him every day and wish that he was here with me and my family, cracking some joke or singing us a song or showing us his garden and what he had grown. Our lives will not be the same without him. I know that he is with Jesus now, and I can only imagine all of the smiles that greeted him at the gates of Heaven. I am so thankful for the amazing family that the Lord has given me. I could have never asked for a better Pawpaw and I will miss him every day until I see him again. I love you more and more, Pawpaw❤️
