Water and glass have been significant tools for artist Estabrak over the past year to further develop their practice and explore fragile yet powerful realities as part of the residency @vitalcapacities and online exhibition "Residual Echoes". We supported Estabrak's work "Letters to Ummi," as part of the @weareunltd Awards last year. The project explored the silenced queer voices from within the West Asia and North Africa diaspora and its region with a series of underwater photographs.
