let me introduce myself 🩷 hi i’m rosa and im a pisces! i was born and raised in maryvale, right on 51st ave and indian school by that famous walmart and el super! my family is from south central LA and im a proud first generation university graduate. - i have my bachelors of science from arizona state & i currently work full time at a oncology and hematology clinic ( and i absolutely love it ) - i was a barista for 6 years (yes i was working two jobs) and i recently just quit last month when i created this account and had this idea and so called epiphany one random night. i wasn’t being treated right after many years of being there and decided it was time to part ways with a job i was so passionate and happy about. - my boyfriend and mom told me i should do something that i loved and that is indeed being a barista. i’ve done it so long, i love making coffee, i love making great tasting drinks to the satisfaction of others and decided it was time to do something for my own. - my tata was a business owner growing up. he used to sell at the pantallas (the drive-ins) on 55th and bethany home and he had his music business and always showed us the ways of business life from a young age. so this is where it all tied in! - why matcha? - about 3 years ago i became really sensitive to caffeine like espresso. my drinks of choice were either a black americano or 6 black shots every morning all through undergrad of university and then one day i could not do it anymore and began having panic attacks so i had to stick solely to matcha which is a more natural caffeine source. - i decided if im going to do this, im going to perfect it. that’s why im giving you all a matcha bar. our specialty is simply matcha. - i use the highest quality matcha from uji, kyoto japan because if im giving my customers something it will be given to the quality that only i would enjoy it myself. im a matcha FEIN!!! i went to new york in february and had about 3 matcha lattes every single morning because i needed to learn the complexities that matcha brings. cold, hot, blended, in beer and in food! enjoy my dump!
