Who is Book Haven Books? We are a Latina-owned online and pop up bookstore based in NJ, founded in 2022. Our mission is to create an inclusive literary space that highlights the diversity of the world around us. We believe representation is important and that everyone deserves to see themselves represented in the stories they read. We believe that reading builds empathy and that by reading books about cultures and experiences outside of our own, we can expand our outlook and further connect with our communities. We celebrate diversity by prioritizing books written BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and authors from other underrepresented backgrounds.
