The fastest dog there was. A sister and best friend 🩵 Sweet Lucy passed in my arms on 5/27/25. In her final moments she ate watermelon, ice cream and chocolate- some of which got on her head (similar enthusiasm to how her sister enjoys sweet treats). She was beyond a companion- a soulmate. Lucy pulled me through some tough moments throughout my life while also giving me many memories of laughter and love. To be dramatic like the queen Lucy was- had it not been for her, my mental health would likely have plummeted throughout my young adult life. Lucy adored the outdoors- swimming and playing fetch. She was also a big fan of Scooby Doo, often found resting on her life size pillow of him. She taught her kid brother, Gilbert, how to be patient with us humans. Well, she did her best. There’s only so much a lady can do. She’s up there racing the other pups through olympic triathlons I’m sure. 💜
