We were very lucky last weekend to take the team from @kilnsoho and @smokinggoatbar to visit Fond Cyprès in Corbieres. Partly enclosed by national forest and cooled by the breezes of the Mediterranean sea, Fond Cyprès is an incredibly special place. Rodolphe and Laetitia have been practising organics here for over two decades, creating stunning living wines which encapsulate the life and terroir of their domaine. It was a pleasure bringing the like-minded people of the Super 8 team here, who have always had a focus on good farming and the best produce. On Monday July 4th Rodolphe and Laetitia will be coming to London for a one-off dinner at Kiln, headed up by @meedu_saad and the team who have put together a special menu inspired by their visit to the domaine. Fond Cyprès will be bringing some old bottles and special cuvées from home with a large selection by the glass. Bookings are available via Kiln website and there will be plenty of space for walk-ins.
