.Death of Seasons (Lovers) I created this piece in April to show at @theprettycult gallery for their tarot show, and was so honored to be part of it, and before that, my last concept was in November. It’s actually been scary to think that this is it, am I bored? Am I just not into it anymore? Am I overwhelmed by the imaginary world I need to create for social media? Honestly, Idk, but it’s killed me seeing pages of concepts I was once dying to shoot just sitting there, and even as the world feels like it’s burning and people are walking shadows these days....I succumbed to it all, completely swallowed by anxiety and depression, the weight of personal life as well....in the end this should be the most important time for us to create, but no matter what, I couldn’t pick myself up to join the fight. Everyday has been a new disappointment towards myself, but I promise I’m trying, and little by little I’m truly truly missing spilling the pain and anxiety through my lens, I’m built with so much more to paint and excited to start again, for how long? Who knows, but I’m not ready to stop at this moment and I’m going from there, as always THANK YOU ALL for your patience and support and especially the kind messages, comments and shares while I wasn’t posting for 6 months, i know it’s said a lot , but it really does keep me going, I hope you’re all well, safe and trying to do what you love and especially keeping sane as much as possible during this heavy atmosphere.
