I know there’s a lot of talk about how challenging having a baby can be on a marriage. Lack of sleep can cause irritability. There’s a lot less quality time as a couple. And taking care of a little one can be very stressful. But what I don’t hear talked about often is what a blessing having a child can be for your marriage. I have discovered a new depth to my love for Matt as I have watched him nurture our son. Raising Griffin together has created a teamwork between us that has brought us together like never before. And experiencing the change from being a couple to a family has been more beautiful than I could have ever predicted. Sure it’s been hard, but more than that it has been such a blessing.
