Rarely in front of the lens but honored to do so for @chivexp for the very special 2022 @lavazzaofficial calendar honoring activists who are using art to create change! Loved ideating with Chivo on a way to honor my Indian heritage which is in part how I fell in love with jewelry and the idea that it could invest in women too. When we were speaking about this I told Chivo we work with ethically sourced natural diamonds that come from a rare type of magma called Kimberlite. This was the inspiration behind having a volcanic 🌋 landscape to tell the origin story of beautiful ethical diamonds in our supply chain. The dress was made in India by my sweet grandmother for my 16th birthday and I’m honored to wear it along with many many @shiffonco pinky rings ✨💍 and hoops for such a meaningful shoot.
