“Here for them, for you, for anyone who needs help. Your healing place and space is OURS.” The Orlando United Resiliency Services (OURS) program, formerly known as the Orlando United Assistance Center, directly serves the Pulse-affected community. OURS has been officially adopted by the LGBTQ+ Center as a signature mental health outreach program to provide support and community to LGBTQ+ individuals and allies that may need it. The mission of the OURS program is and always has been to help individuals who were impacted by the devastating loss of 49 lives, as well as the hundreds of victims who were physically or psychologically hurt as a result of the Pulse shootings. Today, OURS is an integral program driving The LGBTQ+ Center’s mission to promote and empower the LGBTQ+ community and its allies through education, advocacy, and support.
