i feel like the immense gratitude i owe so many people deserves its own post, so here goes: first of all, to alexa, lily, otto, ryan, rachel, and daniel. this show is your vessel and you had the faith in me to sail that ship home. i could not be more honored to have that trust and i hope to have lived up to it these past few months. to the countless guests, particularly those who traveled from north carolina, that came to see our show: thank you. your time and grace and support and love is not lost on me and i am so humbled by the unfathomable response this has received. to the incredible cast and crew that made this happen, i am not only grateful but in awe of you and your talents. to sarah, sam, alena, melanie, alex, mark, and the dozens of other artists that created this world, i applaud you. to abraham, it’s a privilege to have worked with you so often in my time at NU. you are a dream scene partner and i so appreciate the human being you are, that shines such a light that it is impossible to feel anything but joy around you. to lilah, whenever i was overwhelmed to tears, you held my hand and got me through it. and you still managed to be spectacular on that stage every time. we both told each other as sophomores about our dreams of doing this show, and getting to share this with you has been the most joyous and fullest of circles. to john haas, thank you not only for your guidance, but for giving me the confidence in my instrument that gave me the permission to exert the full strength of this character. to my mom, thank you for sharing this excitement with me, for your undying enthusiasm for this story and this character, and for the heaps of love you have shown me before, throughout, and beyond this journey. and last but furthest from least, my father. coming to every single show is no small feat, but you did it. i told you on opening night that the man i am today is because of your presence in my life and i will shout it from every rooftop i can find. my performance and my career are dedicated to your honor. i love you. thank you. this caption was literally twice as long. but i ran out of characters. thank you everybody. my heart is too full.
