Ava took 6 peeled golden, delicious apples, split & cored them, & arranged them in a caramel made with 1-1/2 cups of sugar cooked to an amber brown. We covered it with a sheet of frozen puff pastry & baked at 425F about 35-40 minutes until the puff pastry was dangerously browned. We unmolded it, drained & reduced the caramel & poured it back over & here we are.
