I’ve been looking at old work and reflecting as I get ready to jump into the next chapter of my art - I thought I’d share this scene from a short I wrote and directed circa 2017/18. I didn’t think what 17 year old me wrote would be relevant in a few years, but after the amount of trauma we’ve gone through as a nation in the last year, with our children being slaughtered at school, women being denied control over their own bodies, and innocent people being gunned down in the streets - the monologue in this clip is more important than ever.
