We’re kicking off this series with the classic Mai Tai 🍹🌺 We don’t do the pineapple or grenadine Mai Tai’s at the House either. Just bold Jamaican or (Bajan) rum, house-made orgeat, and fresh citrus. This is the perfect intro to split-base rums too. It’s one of my favorite ways to add depth and complexity to a cocktail. Mai Tai ————— Ingredients: • 0.25 oz rich Demerara syrup • 0.5 oz house-made orgeat • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice • 0.5 oz dry curaçao • 0.75 oz Wray & Nephew Overproof rum • 1.25 oz Appleton Estate Signature (or Real McCoy) Instructions: 1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin. 2. Add ice and shake until well chilled. 3. Strain into a rocks glass over pebbled ice. 4.
