The protective sepal (or as they call it, nature’s fuzzy helmet) on Poppies - these happen to be Icelandic Poppies, can *gently* be removed to reveal their awesome bloom. They will open up on their own in a few hours. This little trick is good to know if timing is key, like if you’re using them at a event, or gifting them to someone, so they are at their Peak Petal Perfection!👌🏼💫 If you’re not in a hurry, or nervous to hurt these delicate flowers, you can let them do their thing naturally🧘🏼‍♀️ 🌸Poppies will be in season for Mother’s Day, along with Snapdragons, Sweet Peas, Anemones, and Peonies.
