THE LOOP CHAIR @indiamahdavi and @gebruder_thonet_vienna push the boundaries of bentwood with a new collection In response to the invitation of the historic company Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, India Mahdavi has created the Loop family whose members include lounge chairs and a banquette. “Gebrüder Thonet Vienna is the only manufacturer in the world that enables you to translate a free hand drawing by giving it a wooden materiality of that quality” she says. India Mahdavi frees the forms with a colour palette designed to enhance the furnishings through fraternal twin shades. Colors that are similar, but not identical. The loop has come full circle.
