‘Scuse the sap, but dang it. 😭 The other night, I was watching as Coco sat in Drew’s lap, his hands stroking her hair, gently getting her little knots out of it while she played with her Barbie. Sometimes it takes my breath away watching him be a girl dad.

I remember when he told me that his dream was to be a stay-at-home dad and I wasn’t sure if or how it’d work. He has one of the hardest and simultaneously most rewarding jobs out there and damnit, he’s so good at it. If anyone asks me how I “do it all.” I usually laugh and say that I don’t, because I have him and we’re a team. 
These girls are SO lucky to do life with their daddy, I can’t wait until the day they really understand how incredible it is that dad was there for ALL of it, that he never missed a beat. I also love watching him learn things like how to paint nails and braid hair and get Barbie shoes back on! 🥲 

Moving through this season of life and knowing we’ll have no regrets or feelings like we missed it is a blessing I wish everyone could experience. Teamwork makes the dreamwork baby and there’s no one I’d rather be in the thick of it with, than you!
