DIRECT ACTION WORKS!!️ It’s been announced that both the National Gallery in London and The Guggenheim in NYC have removed the Sackler name from their walls❗️We thank both museums for doing the right thing and for finally following the lead of institutions before them. The Sackler family and their privately-owned pharmaceutical company, Purdue Pharma unleashed one of the largest and deadliest public health crises in American history. This country will suffer for generations to come. That is the Sackler legacy. Our group has fought for over 4 years to hold the family accountable in the cultural realm & courts with focused, effective action, with tremendous support from local groups that fought by our side. We want billionaires who shower institutions with their blood money to watch the Sacklers' cultural reckoning and take note that they can be next.
