NYC HERE I COME!! I have officially accepted the role of Digital Education Manager for #Matrix🙌🏼 🌈 It was 10 years ago in January when this, once shy, little guy decided to take a leap of faith and attempt to become an educator for @Matrix. Little did I know, that moment would change my life forever! I went from having my second trip on an airplane ✈️ to having opportunities to fly all over the country, spreading my love and passion for this industry and hair dressers everywhere. I went from working in a salon, to having my own business, to working full time as an educator for this incredible brand. Each step of the way I’ve gotten the chance to meet and work with some of the most inspiring hairdressers, who constantly remind me why I do what I do, and to keep going and growing. Here are some things I’ve learned along the way: -KINDNESS MATTERS! There is room in this industry for all of us. So be kind to your neighbor, and let’s lift each other up! -Take every opportunity you get. NOTHING is beneath you! -Success doesn’t happen overnight, and it definitely takes a village! -When you’re told to believe in yourself and go after it with everything you’ve got...DO IT!!!! -CHANGE really is the only constant in life. So, embrace it and roll with it. **When you feel like no one sees you...they do...NEVER GIVE UP! I wish I could thank every mentor and person who has inspired or encouraged me over the years, but the list would genuinely never end. Every single person I’ve crossed paths with over the years have left a little piece of you with me, and I am forever grateful. To my salon partners: Thank you for inspiring me and allowing me into you spaces. ❤️ I promise, as I embark on this new journey, to take you with me in spirit, and bring your voices forward whenever I’m given the opportunity!
