im so sad to say goodbye to my first job out of college, but after a year and exactly 530 stories later, today is my last day as a fashion writer for @nylonmag 🥹💗💫 i grew up extremely low-income and to a single mother, and i never thought about my life beyond getting through school. once i graduated, i had no idea what was next for me or how i would ever get there. i mean, how do you navigate the career you've always wished for but was told you shouldn't even try your whole life? receiving my offer and working at NYLON has been nothing but a true blessing. in just a year here, i've attended fashion weeks and traveled to places like LA and miami to cover events on behalf of my dream magazine. i've written a slew of stories and interviewed some of my favorite people and celebrities. im so grateful to my amazing team esp @bobilapizza-- im 4ever indebted to you all. i've grown so much both as a journalist and a person. cheers to both my one year (long overdue) and my last day! i will miss taking selfies in the office and eating cereal at my desk every morning :') this may be an end of an era but this is not goodbye, it's see u later (or on the other side hehe 😉💞)
