I’m going to be honest. I cannot believe I’m a business owner. I ask myself: “How do you think you’re going to succeed as a self proclaimed designer/stylist?” “You’ve never been good at math, you idiot, won’t this be challenging?” “You remember this is why you switched from Interior Design as a major when you were 18, right?” “What if I wake up one day and I’ve squeezed out all of the creative juices I have left?” “What if I’m too rough around the edges and do things different than other stylists/designers?” “What if I don’t add real value?” I literally lose sleep over these questions. They might be true. Maybe not. Maybe only for some people. I guess we’ll see. However, what I find cool about changing the entire trajectory of my life at 32 is, why the f*** not? I can make any self proclamation I want if I have the work ethic and drive to back it up and results to show it. We have more than enough resources at our fingertips to learn the technicality of anything and talent can’t be taught. If you’re new here, hi. I’m Summer.
