Before she'd ever thought of becoming an entrepreneur, Lola Tomorrow was an aide to Michelle Obama for seven years as a contracted event specialist for the White House.
After moving from Washington, DC back to her hometown of Chicago, Tomorrow started a non-profit called iGlow Girls, serving inner-city girls of color. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she also started Faith Figures, a mentorship-and-consulting business for faith-driven female founders.
Between January and June 2022, Faith Figures generated more than $1 million in revenue, according to documents Insider viewed. Here's what a day in Tomorrow's life looks like, from waking up at 6:30 a.m. to working on her businesses until 9 p.m., as told to Insider.
