IRENA’S MARCH 8/6/22 This Saturday I’ll be re releasing a song of mine on all platforms and it’s called “Irena’s March”. I posted it on SoundCloud back in 2014, but it hasn’t seen the light of day since. Until now! :) The song is about Irena Sendler - she was a humanitarian during WWII who helped smuggle out hundreds of children from Nazi occupied Poland during the height of the war. It’s what I imagined she might be saying to them (and perhaps herself) as she made the brave attempt to rescue them. The song also honors the soldiers who gave their lives to save their fellow man. Irena’s story is truly beautiful and I’ve been inspired by her for over a decade.
