Alaska Photo Dump Part Two! Days 5-6: Down time in Anchorage. Rainy day hike. Day 7-8: Drove to Seward for some cabin “camping.” We managed to get in an 8 mile hike to Exit Glacier before it started raining. My son may never forgive me for this one. 4 miles straight uphill. Threats of bears around a few corners. He cried only HALF the hike this time. Next day, six hour boat tour complete with more Bald Eagles, Puffins, Humpback whales and glaciers. Day 9: what did we do?! Drove somewhere. Saw things. Ate fresh salmon caught that day. Spent the night Gwinn Cabins. Took a 4 mile hike to Russian Falls where we watched Salmon desperately fight their way upstream to their ancestral spawning grounds (got that description off a website). #alaska #rainydayhikes #hikes #seward #ididnttakephotsofallthetears
