I just hit 2 years of sobriety on July 7th. I’m filled with so much gratitude and appreciation for the life I have today. I credit it all to the decision to get sober. I always say, I use to give up everything so I could have one thing, now I give up one thing so I can have everything & it couldn’t be more true. I think people cast misconceptions upon sobriety that it is boring, lifeless, and lame...I’m here to tell you that it’s not. Everything good I’ve gained is everything I chose to leave behind. Life is BEAUTIFUL and to be able to experience it so raw is so wildly freeing. My sobriety is magical. I love sharing the knowledge and perspective I have now in hopes that it will reach the people it needs to. If I can help just one person I know I’m passing the message along that I was lucky enough to hear that saved my life. I am so lucky and so blessed.
