COVER DRIP DROP! Finally getting to reveal the cover of “Can We Please Give The Police Department To The Grandmothers?” my new book and first children’s book!! EEEEEEK! I’ve been so excited to share it with the world. I love all of the ways that @itskristenuroda snapped on bringing this abolitionist sweetness to life! I wanted to have the concept of “grandmothers” live through all kinds of bodies, of all ages and genders and she totally made it happen! Wait until y’all see the inside! 🥹🥰😭 sweet and brilliant! I am grateful to share this vision with all of the babies and the elders and everyone in between. To live in the juicy and healing possibility of what crisis response looks like from a place of the authority of love and care! I am happy that this is my first children’s book and it is revolutionary and beautiful!
