Wow, taking care of a tiny human while trying to find the new ‘me’ has been nothing short of hard. 18 months postpartum and I feel like I’m just finding my groove again. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I said when I had Bella that I refuse to rush the postpartum period and the ‘bounce back’ that society pressures women into. That I would let my body and mind heal for as long as it takes and I’m so proud that I’ve done that. To any new parents out there that feel completely overwhelmed in this new season of life be kind to yourself, ask for help and try to prioritize yourself just as much as your bubbas.
