Taiwan, what an amazing adventure! I never believed that this experience would change me in the ways it has. The Lord has been so good! When we first got to Taiwan, my expectations were not to make the kind of connections that I ended up making. At English Camp, our team had the unique experience of getting to know some of the kindest, most genuine people. We had the opportunity to visit with China Medical University students about the differences between Eastern and Western culture, we got to exchange details about our lives, and we also got to talk about Jesus and our faith in addition to exploring Taiwanese religious practices. I have been so blessed to be immersed by such a rich culture. My first trip overseas has been marked by so many memorable adventures! The Lord has taught me what it truly means to surrender control and comfort so that I may simply abide in Him. I had the chance to share the gospel with some of the students, which was such a blessing! I have developed a great love and admiration for Taiwan and its people. The Lord truly made this experience possible, and I praise Him for the ways He has taught and grown me.
