We were meeting our contractor at our new apartment on the morning of 9/11, and I will never get this image out of my mind. Our livingroom had a clear view of the towers, so watching this whole thing unfold before our eyes seemed completely surreal. What I can also never forget is the way the people of our great city came together to aid and support one another, and showed the world that no matter how big the tragedy, we would not only survive, but come back stronger.
