⚓️ Fixing a Machine Weft Anchor ⚓️ If Im doing a move up and I don’t like the way an edge is laying I will re-do it! It only takes a couple minutes to level up your work. Step 1. Remove old bead/section. Resection w/ new bead Step 2. Re-thread your needle and pass through the fabric of the weft about an inch in. This will secure the thread to the weft. Step 3. Do a closed blanket stitch in the 2nd pocket of hair Step 4. Now we are going to anchor back to the natural hair. Working in the outer pocket of hair, pass your needle down through the pocket of hair then through the back of the weft. Next stitch will pass up and through the same pocket of hair and through the back of the weft (make sure it goes through the loop). Guide your loop to sit on the outside of the weft. Step 5. Anchoring the weft itself. Now that you’ve anchored the weft to the natural hair, you will now work your whip stitches about an inch into the weft. When you are on your last whip stitch bring your needle 3/4 of the way through and this is where you will tie off your weft. Wrap the thread around your needle 3 times and pull to create a slip knot. Cut your thread then secure the slip knot with 3 more knots on top. Then cut the excess 👏🏼 #bellamihair #bellamihairpro #sewin #sewinextensions #handtiedextensions #handtiedwefts #hairextensions #extensions #hairgoals #hairextensionspecialist #hairtip #howto #fixit #hairhack #hairvideo #itsnotthatdeep #dontworry
