Early this year I was invited to assist @todseelie on assignment for @altajournal crossing the Sierra to recreate the Walker Party crossing. Thanks to my eclectic bag of skills and experience as well as Tod having no other friend silly enough to go along I was took the job. . This was a part of the Sierra I had little experience with outside some scouting years ago for @orogenesiscollective routing. I was thrilled to get back to California and in these mountains. . Due to timing we had all the hardships of a winter trip and the challenges of spring snow travel. Two weeks later and we’d have carried half the gear. .
