Back in August, Nick and I carried his Rhodes a few hundred yards into a field of sunflowers and filmed this performance of Laura and the Beehive. In an album full of songs close to my heart, this one is among the closest. A recent interview asked me to explain the song’s metaphor and I had to tell them it isn’t one. The story is true.
