I KNOW YOU FEEL SO INSPIRED ✨ Christian and I filmed a little short music video for the closing track ‘INSPIRED’ on “A LOT OF THINGS” in November. This was one of those songs that just fell out of me. I showed @junejissle my mumbling melody idea and he was like “did you say inspired??” And the rest was history! At first this song felt like a quick throw away idea. I had freestyled the whole thing and left all of the ideas in the first minute... but over time, the song grew on me and became my fav off the EP. When ALOT dropped, so many of my friends would say “I love ___ but I honestly think Inspired is my favorite” Including June! And At first I didn’t understand why 😂 my logic was that I spent hours and hours and hours on the first 3 songs trying to be a perfectionist - so they must be better 🤖 😵‍💫 but I think Inspired captured a raw energy. there’s something beautiful about me belting my inner thoughts into the void. I recorded the whole thing in my empty childhood home too. So it’s like I’m just yelling into this vast tunnel of memories or whatever 🤦🏼‍♂️🥴. ~ANYWAY~ Sometimes you gotta take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward !even if the problem always comes back.... “Like YAK🤮” gross line but it came from the heart! 🥰 Thanks to everyone who tuned in this year!
