Pixs from my bday on 10/7/24 - my first day of being 29 y/o. Plus, pixs/vids from 10/6/24 - my last day of 28 y/o. I spent my last day of 28 where I had coffee on my friend Rachel’s patio in the morning, she got me an almond croissant and we went to the flea market. Then I spent the rest of the day solo, I walked Central Park, ate risotto, people watched, enjoyed witnessing love where ppl were dancing on the street, and went to see one of my favorite authors, @angelalduckworth speak at 92Y. On my first day of 29yo I spent my evening with my cute friends at one of my safe and favorite places @threedeckerdiner. Of course we got table pancakes and table wings. They surprised me with a candle in my table pancake. I felt seen. Prior, I spent the day solo - I did my favorite activity and treated myself to laundry at the laundry mat. I love how silent it is in there and how I shut out the world. I went and got a latte and read at @bakeribrooklyn. And then a frozen mango and a cortado at @theradiostarnyc. Yes at the same time. I also got my birth reading at @flowercatnyc by the queen herself @themackenzieexperience and treated myself to tulips. I also spent time in ritual, and making floral arrangements for others. I wrote into my birthday - from 11:54pm to 12:08am and reminded myself how to live. I really like getting older. I like choosing to do it gracefully.
