Alaska Photo Dump Part three! All out of order. Day 10-11: Took a train to Spencer Glacier, hiked 1.5 miles to a secluded campsite by, you guessed it, a glacier! Did a little interpretive dance with Indy. Managed to get in a small hike in the rain, because by this time Indy had our number. He was NOT going any farther than he wanted. Rider continued on for a 9 mile hike. I went home with the women and children and made dinner. Found out mosquito nets are definitely worthwhile in Alaska. It was time to pull out my eye mask because, you know, it doesn’t get dark till 1am, and then the sun rises at 4am, and I was sleeping in a tent. Forgot my eye mask. Borrowed this one. Day 12: Down day in Anchorage. Day 13: Alaskan Wildlife Conservatory. Saw some wolves and a brown bear that came within two feet of us (through a fence, of course). Closest I have and will ever want to come to a bear. Took several pictures with a rainbow. Day 14: Took a sea plane to an isolated cabin on a lake. Tried to catch a fish that would not get caught.
