🎉 It’s been about a month since the K Line opened! #MetroArtLA is celebrating by sharing the award-winning short form documentary series, Community Voices . Made by director and producer @mobolajiolamb of @dreamseekermedia/Seeker Films, the series documented personal stories from community members over the course of 10 years as the K Line was being built. Mobolaji’s approach to the series was informed by his personal relationship to the neighborhoods near the K Line. “I learned so much that I did not know about this community I love and spend time in often. I used to live just north of Leimert Park for many years and still hold the whole area from there to Inglewood close to my heart, so any opportunity to return and connect is wonderful. It was a deeply enriching experience to be with artists of all types and people I would never have met had it not been for this work.
