The farm is located in La Fundadora in northern Nicaragua. After her husband’s passing in 2012, Angela and her four children continue to oversee all farm activities.The farm has had gradual growth over the years and is producing 175 bags of coffee per year. This coffee’s journey has virtually involved an all-women supply chain. We are delighted to celebrate all women’s achievements in coffee. PAPUA NEW GUINEA SIGRI ESTATE KULA PEABERRY - WASHED PROCESS cantaloupe • raspberry • waffle cone The Sigri Coffee Estate is located in the Waghi Valley, a fertile region of the western highlands. The medium density shade trees in the estate promote even ripening of the coffee cherries as well as a habitat for at least 90 species of birds. Sigri Estate Kula Peaberry's exceptional quality is the result of many factors in the farming practices. The name “Kula” refers to special processing guidelines. The coffee is dried on raised beds and goes through two rounds of color-sorting and two rounds of hand-sorting. This extra processing creates one of the cleanest Papua New Guinea coffees.
