Woah! Being an actor is so hard. We are constantly walking into rooms or working relationships just hoping people will pick up on talent we are 99% certain (probably?) exists. I think I’m finding more and more in this industry that not many are going to respect me the way I respect myself, which has to be a lot. It’s so hard to try to convince people you deserve respect. To all my artists out there, old and young, “successful” or pounding the pavement, in front of the table or behind it, I hope you give yourself recognition in the the tougher moments. Making art is beautiful (and hard) 🫶🏻
