I have to share this every year apparently. Comments are off because I already know -in one ear out the other. To allies/accomplices, Indigenous, Black, people of color, share our ideas, concepts, solutions, opinions, openly on social media. We share so we can craft out a world in which we can live freely. It's great that as allies you are learning. However why challenge us, or add onto, or reduce, our ideas? We offer you a different viewpoint and insight. Yet it is treated as a debate or a challenge. Does there always have to be a catch in your allyship? An "I agree BUT.." statement? An ally is not about repackaging our ideas to fit into the same worldview we are trying to change.
