Karima brought her seven-month-old baby to CARE’s mobile health clinic in the Balkh province of Afghanistan, her baby had been suffering from an illness of the chest. Our mobile health teams provide critical health services to remote communities. With your help, we are able to provide essential healthcare for pregnant women and new mothers. We also provide cash assistance to support the treatment in hospitals of children like Karima’s. Thankfully, we were able to reach Karima and her child, but there are many more women who urgently need our help.
