one more day until the graphic novel is out 😭🥳 this weekend i went to my first book event since the start of the pandemic and my emotions were all over the place. i went into it feeling really intimidated to be invited to an event with so many authors that i look up to, i even had a keynote with @tahereh who has been a favorite storyteller of mine for many years. (she’s just as incredibly elegant and brilliant as i made her out to be in my head) all of my anxiety disappeared when i got to see you guys there 😭 i have been starving for interaction with my readers and i truly don’t have the words to explain the feeling i felt when i sat down at the table to sign. it all came back to me, all the laughs, all the tears and personal stories we’ve shared. it’s the most natural thing in the universe to me, to spend time with you. thank you to everyone who came 🙏🏼 tomorrow is the launch event for the Graphic Novel at The Grove (ticket info in my story) and im literally counting down the minutes until i can be in a room with you guys again 😭 from the bottom of my black heart, thank you for supporting me every step of the way and thank you for still sticking by me all these years later 🖤 how was your weekend? have you been well? are you being kind to yourself or at least trying to? how is your heart and mind? tell me all the things ❤️ also i dressed up like there was no tomorrow, thanks to @christinajpacelli and my outfit deets are: the dress @marahoffman, shoes @prada, socks @hue, jewelry @alexisbittat, bag @chanelofficial
