The 9/11 Memorial reflecting pools are each nearly an acre in size, filling the footprints of the North and South Towers with the largest manmade waterfalls in North America. For five nights a week, from midnight to 8am, it’s the job of a small team to make sure these pools are spotless. Last year, I had the honor of producing @joshuacharow’s film on one of these devoted cleaners, Jim Maroon. This documentary is playing on @time and these are the accompanying images.
