The New Strawberry, Hazelnut, Chocolate & Pistachio Mickey Shake from Schmoozies in DCA $14.29 Strawberry shake with pistachio whipped topping, fried kataifi, and chocolate sauce. I have thoughts on this one. The low hanging fruit is the obvious that they’re now serving shakes in regular size fountain drink cups. Does that affect the taste? No. So while I hate it as a food blogger who likes nice looking photos and videos it doesn’t really affect much. In my opinion though, if you’re charging $14 for a shake the presentation needs to be high. Also, strawberry Nutella was actually a nice flavor but the pistachio whipped topping and fried kataifi were an odd pairing. 7.5/10 rating on taste; 1/10 rating on presentation; 2/10 rating on value I expect better when I’m overpaying for an item. Just my opinion.
