🫶one more post from tonight's historic event, because it really was the first time I have felt somewhat hopeful and optimistic in 71 days. and the guy is now going on Maddow after 25+ hours, the physical feat itself is beyond words. I haven't always aligned with his choices and policies, but this is why I loved what his accountability he also showed tonight in acknowledging that — and that's what separates what's going on in this administration versus the rest of us. they pretend they're perfect, above the law, and skirt accountability. humans aren't perfect, and neither are politicians, and I hope that the like-minded humans that want a better world where altruism wins, remember this. to allow grace and learning, but also demand better— we can do both. thank you @corybooker and his team, for providing some much needed light💕 was so proud to be your constituent tonight!
