Ten years ago today, we gathered as one community to help our neighbors still suffering from the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. After the storm devastated the Tri-state region, Robin Hood immediately reactivated its relief fund (first created after 9/11) with a simple but urgent task: quickly help those who need it most. With too many families still in need, unsure how to rebuild homes and lives, the 12.12.12 Concert for Sandy Relief brought us together to fund this effort – raising $50 million, about 60% of the total fund and the most successful relief concert at the time. Today, we commemorate this historic moment and thank everyone who supported this urgent work. The crises today may look different, but our neighbors still need your support. Thank you.
